I laughed, I cried, I laughed a lot more. I love a book that can bring out real emotion. I've already borrowed another of his books in the hope that this one is representative of all his writing.

This particular story is about building community and the importance of relationships. You have to love the curmudgeonly Ove. As one who also has strong opinions, I can identify. ...more

This is, by turns, hilarious, touching, and heart-warming. It made me laugh, cry, and question my choice of car. Ove should be completely unlikeable, yet he captured my heart.
