What Members Thought
I have mixed feelings about this book. While I liked the overall story (until the end - had hoped for a better ending to the lock mystery), I'm not a fan of the writing style and at times, got a bit lost. Especially when Oskar's narration jumped back and forth in time. I did like how things tied together when viewed through a different narrator's perspective. I was able to get through it quickly, despite getting lost a few times. It definitely held my attention.

It was an interesting book. A sad story with a lot of humor. Follows a young boy who lost his father in 9/11. I find it interesting that after sitting on my bookshelf for 2 years, I ended up reading it in September and finishing it right around the 11th.
