I have a love-hate relationship with this one. It took me almost 3 months to finish and brought my reading life to a complete halt.
I loved the tension of going against the grain. It reminded me of the message of Dead Poets’ Society. There was some great social commentary on chaos vs. order, the effects of control, sanity vs. insanity, and social pressure and sexuality. McMurphy was a great character and I really enjoyed Kesey’s descriptions of his social interactions.

It took me longer than I expected but I finally finish this book. The first part took me a long time to read and i was not getting into it. But after that I couldn't stop. The book absorb me and the characters so well describe in the beginning started to take action. Is a great reading and a most - do. It shows you a place were the doctors rule and patients are lab rats. Is a lesson in life a lesson that no matter where you are you have to keep your spirit run free and smile, never forget the po

Remembered much from having seen the movie, but still taken aback by the ending, even when I knew what was coming.
