If Stardew Valley was a book, this might be it. The vibes were immaculate. The romance was only ok for me, but I was happy with them in the end.

3.5 stars.

A cosy fantasy read with magical creatures and a sentient plant, with a splash of romance on the side.
The romance was actually my least favourite part of the book however, I didnt mind Larran himself, but the romance felt a bit tacked on for convenience. Did enjoy the librarian and research parts, and setting up a new life in a small village.
