A Great and Terrible Beauty was a book genre I don't often read. Apart from The Infernal Devices I normally read books taking place in the present. It started off really great, but then it just became worse and worse if you ask me. I can't grasp how Gemma, Pippa, Ann and Felicity can be so stupid and naive. You'd think they were 6 and not 16. I had hoped for a little more romance, but hopefully it'll come in the next novels. Nevertheless the book was great and I loved the language.
