It was...interesting. In a good way. My only real problem was the romance aspect. I felt like there wasn't any real build-up to the way Kelley's feelings for Sonny developed. Sonny's side of the romantic development was on track. But when Kelley's dad told her that Sonny would never love her, I was sort of like: "Why would she even care about that? Since I don't like faerie or fey or elf or imps or whatever (you get the idea) books ery much I did not exspect much from this one.
But overall I gotta say, it was pretty entertaining. I liked the characters and the setting. The events were pretty lively and not too stupid(?) for me and it was a great series starter.
The ending was pretty good and I am looking forward to reading the next book. ...more
