I seriously judged these books by there rather terrible covers. Something about the cover of this one screams Angelina Jolie at me...I passed it up A LOT on the shelf. I should know better then to judge a book by it's cover, and though I took my time getting into this book I am really glad I started the series. didnt llike this one as much as the others in the series
Enjoyed it! Not the typical vampire book. I love the social classifications: Moroi, dhampirs, strigoi. Strong characters too. Also admire how it narrates.

This is a good series and I am excited to see how the characters grow. The main character, Rose, is pretty rough edged. And her love story is very intriguing. I'm excited to see how she develops. I'll definitely keep reading the series.
