*Squeal!!!* This book is just AMAZING! I mean it was, well I hate to admit it so I wont, one of the best book on my shelf!! There's not much but I'd say that this book is nothing but great! I was actually thinking if this is better than twilight but I give up debating because it would hurt to admit that. But it was easy to answer if you'd ask me who is the best MC between Bella and Rose. Rose is such a kick-ass, she rocked! While Bella on the other hand was a cry baby..I think it was chapter 5 w *Squeal!!!* This book is just AMAZING! I mean it was, well I hate to admit it so I wont, one of the best book on my shelf!! But it was easy to answer if you'd ask me who is the best MC between Bella and Rose. Rose is such a kick-ass, she rocked! While Bella on the other hand was a cry baby..I think it was chapter 5 when I literally rolled on my bed laughing!! That part was when the professor read Rose and Lissa's note! The five-question mark thing was really funny!! And I read it in two seating, in one and a half day! It was really attention catching and though it was like the typical vampire basic--the blood, sex, sunlight sensitive--but the story was captivating, engrossing and I love it!! I really liked Lissa and how the story revolved around their freindship. And the last part really made hearts float above my head. When Dimitri said
Still holding me in his arms, he looked down at me. I could hear voices and footsteps getting closer.
"Because we can't be together."

"Because of the age thing, right?" I asked. "Because you're my mentor?"
His fingertip gently wiped away a tear that had escaped down my cheek.

"That's part of it," he said. "But also... well, you and I will both be Lissa's guardians someday. I need to protect her at all cost. If a pack of Strigoi come, I need to throw my body between them and her."

I know that. Of course that's what you have to do." The black sparkles were dancing in front of my eyes again. I was fading out.

"No. If I let myself love you, I won't throw myself in front of her. I'll throw myself in front of you."

sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet! read this! you won't regret. It has fun, adventure, romance and friendship all in one book! How much more on its sequel? I can't wait! I didn't like it that Natalie turned bad. :( I hope it wont happen to Lissa or Christian or *sniffle* Dimitri!! Though I read the book cover of Blood Promise..but Mead wont end up making Dimitri bad to the core right? There's got to be a way. I'll get my hand on the 2nd book. SOON. ...more

wow this book was really good. and i didnt realize how much it affected me until 2 days after i finished reading the book and i started feeling like my life had no meaning and empty and everything. it was really good, i think these books are now my favorite series. they are definitely better than twilight, thats for sure. it gave me a lot to think about...

No doubt one of my favourite books. Addictive and page-turner read and guaranteed to get you hooked. It has an edge-of-seat plot where you never know what happens next. I just LOVE the Vampire Academy series.
