Well...Dimitri is in my crush list now! I loved how unique this story was. You have your heroine Rose, who has a vampire bestfriend, Lissa, and she was sworn to protect her with her life. Moroi vampire are mortal but need blood and food to survive. Strigoi are immortal vampires, yeah those are the bad guys.
So Lissa is a princess and Rose and herself have run away from the academy. A school where Moroi and guardians (the ones that protect the moroi) live together.

I really liked it...kept me interested. I hope the raven comes back and does something awesome elater on the the series.
