Ummm. The book was OK I guess. Kinda confusing at times with the whole Rose-can-be-Lissie sometimes but I got everything in the end.
Butttt, I wanna say a few things.
-The book was kind of predictable.
-I knew from the beginning that Dimitri and Rose wanted to get together.
-I knew that Christian and Lissa were gonna get together eventually.
-I knew that Natalie was evil. Just didn't know what kind of evil...

Well...Dimitri is in my crush list now! I loved how unique this story was. You have your heroine Rose, who has a vampire bestfriend, Lissa, and she was sworn to protect her with her life. Moroi vampire are mortal but need blood and food to survive. Strigoi are immortal vampires, yeah those are the bad guys.
So Lissa is a princess and Rose and herself have run away from the academy. A school where Moroi and guardians (the ones that protect the moroi) live together.

Another good vamp book series - but definitely laking something to get it to the twilight or house of night epic level. A little bit slow at times - but possibly one of the best hidden 'bad guys' I've ever read. I generally can guess who the bad guy is going to be- however loved that it wasn't obvious with this one. Loved Rose's character.
