"Francois Rabelais. He was this poet. And his last word were ' I go to seek a great Perhaps.' That's why I'm going. So I don't have to wait until i die to start seeking a Great Perhaps."

Why I didn't rated it 5 : I felt like the ending lacks something. It was so... quiet? I guess ( maybe some books are supposed to end like that? Quiet. ) . I don't mean it like a dramatic ' it has no ending coz it will forever be a part of my life' way, it just lacks closure for me.

Miles “Pudge” Halter has a very normal dull life of a teenager until he transferred to Culver Creek Boarding School and met Alaska Young who is made up of deep thoughts, different ideas and hilarious pranks. I think that John Green is a phenomenal writer. He conveys his stories in such a way that you feel so connected to the characters. You go through the characters ups and downs and through all their struggles. This book is a good example of that. There are surprising twists and turns in this book and I highly recommend reading all his books

I didn't love this book. It didn't really flow for me, it was disjointed and i didn't warm to the characters. His response at the end though made it worth while. I liked what he wrote a lot. It made a certain amount of sense and so I'm glad i stuck it out with this somewhat unlikeable, motley crew.
