I was very pleasantly surprised by this book. It was dramatically different from Uglies. Definitely not as light and "Bubbly". This book was dark, creepy, disgusting, and at times definitely had me scared of the dark. Westerfield also didn't hit us over the head with his moral message, like he did with Uglies, although it is definitely still there. Don't read this book if you are grossed out by bugs and tiny little organisms that do disgusting things. You will get quite the parasite education! B ...more
