okay..at the fist 100 page or so, i was kinda upset about this book..i thought its not so good as i thought it would be, i was actually thinking about it whether to give it a 3 or four stars...but!! when i read futher, everything became more and more exciting...!!
I didn't like that much Seth at the beginning,neither Keenan, or anyone. I was just curious how they would end up. And i didn't understand how Keenan became the Summer King when his mother is the Winter Queen..and i still don't know, and what is Keenan's relationship to Moira..

oh well, i love this book...
I was actually reluctant on buying this because of my short budget, i didn't want it to turn out to be other books i read..*cough* *cough* Evermore *cough* *cough* Blue moon. When i called powerbooks to ask for a copy, it was such another great thing that it's on sale!! Definitely worth the penny i've spent

Oh, and Seth is so kind...it was really so sweet of him to silently being a friend to Aislinn for 7 months! But you know what's the best? It was Donia's love for Keenan..I'm actually wondering if he's worth it! Why, he didn't make any move to prove his love on Donia..despite Donia's centuries of sufferings, the risk she took, the betrayal she made on the late Winter Queen..and it was truly great that Summer and Winter rulers can still get together!! I love the ending! <3

The book don't just rotate on one pair of lovers but two.

This. Book. Is. Definitely. Worth. The. Read.

i'm excited to read the 2nd book!! :D oh! before anything else, I was meaning to give this book a 4.5 stars!! xDD i'd like to give it a 5 but 5 is too much if i were to compare it on other books i've read that i gave 5..it's not as great as twilight, i actually gave all the stars up the sky at those books, but this books is almost as good as the twilight series..just a couple of light years away..lol im serious.

An actually good modern fairy story!

My favorite aspect of it is that Aislinn is an independed girl who isn't automatically in love with the gorgeous fairy king. There's an emotion battle rather than the all-too-common story of a girl instantly won over by the mythical being.

The story drags a little bit at some points because it isn't constant action or romance, but it sets a natural pace. Definitely leads into a good beginning for the next in the series. ...more

This book was terrible. I kept reading thinking that it would get better but it kept dragging on. No action what so ever. The ending was horribly anti-climactic. The entire problem was solved in basically four pages. I was one of the most pointless books I have ever read. Marr is one of the few people who can make fantasy boring.
