Okay so at the beginning of this book I was really confused because it has nothing to do with Kaye, Robien, or the first book...instead it's about this girl, Val, who's mortal, but gets mixed up with people who are already mixed up with faeires and this troll, Ravus. Anyway I just wanted to say that it's not all connected like most series, but you still need to read the first book because Kaye and Robien and the things you learn in the first book you will need for this next adventure!
