Wow. I'm so glad not to have lived as a woman in 19th century China! Holy moly. But I really enjoy Lisa See's stories.

This book is heartbreaking and beautiful all at the same time. I just want to go on and on about how much I loved this book. This book made me care so much about Lily & Snow Flower that the last part of the book broke my heart. Lisa See’s writing is so beautiful this story just flowed and was so hard to put down.

I cried, I think it is because the friendship message was so sweet. I am pretty sure my lao tong is definitely my gay guy best friend LOL.
What a beautifully written book.
This book was amazing. It was both very informational and caught your attention, that I almost read it in a day. Didn't want to put it done. Stood at the stove making dinner and reading this book. This is the first book I read by this author, but have read more of her books with equal admiration of her writing.

This book was beautifully written and it felt like I was invited into a secret world that is so far removed from the society I live in and yet it is based on a culture that is still present but slowly fading into nonexistence. It was interesting and also made me cry a lot of the time but is still one of my favorites.
it's one of see's bestsellers. lisa see has become a fast favorite of mine. i'm definitely keeping my eyes peeled for this book
