This book is heartbreaking and beautiful all at the same time. I just want to go on and on about how much I loved this book. This book made me care so much about Lily & Snow Flower that the last part of the book broke my heart. Lisa See’s writing is so beautiful this story just flowed and was so hard to put down.

My sister-in-law loaned me this book and I found it compelling, then I passed it on to another friend who also couldn't put it down. When my Las Vegas friend visited last September, she started reading it and took it home with her. It's about friendship, foot-binding, status, Japanese culture, etc.

Holy crap. I loved this book. Friendship, pain, forgiveness, etc... You can't lose with the prose style. I thought it was an excellent love story about friendship. I highly recommend.

I cried, I think it is because the friendship message was so sweet. I am pretty sure my lao tong is definitely my gay guy best friend LOL.
This book was amazing. It was both very informational and caught your attention, that I almost read it in a day. Didn't want to put it done. Stood at the stove making dinner and reading this book. This is the first book I read by this author, but have read more of her books with equal admiration of her writing.

I realy enjoyed this book, its very interesting to learn what the women went thought getting their feet bound and how their culture treated them in genaral. It made for a great story as well.
I absolutely adored this book, even if it took me over a year to get ound to reading it.
