One of my favorite memoirs of all time and I'm a huge reading of memoirs. I picked this up while traveling in the Gulf Islands of Canada on vacation where the book was partially set and it was my vacation reading book. Loved every minute of it. Amazing characters, literary writing and emotionally gripping and engaging story. Highly, highly recommend.
