Joss doesn't do relationships. EVER. She doesn't allow herself to feel for anyone, because she has a firm grip on the steel trap on her heart.
We've seen this type of heroine before, right? But, in this book Joss is actually pretty convincing that she really doesn't want to let herself care.
This is not a good vs evil in the traditional sense, but Joss battles her demons as she struggles to allow Braden into her world.

First off let me say I'm so very happy this book came out early! :) I was hooked with Samantha's teaser of the first two chapters a couple of months ago and have been not so patiently waiting for the release ever since. It was definitely well worth the wait. The main character Joss was everything you was a leading lady to be, funny, smart, strong, capable and flawed. Braden, well Braden was just hot.
