Adorei e as lágrimas cairam no final. Impossível não sentir ternura e carinho pelo Ove.
À primeira vista podemos dizer que Ove é um homem rezingão, rabugento que só sabe dizer mal de tudo e de todos. Isto é tudo verdade mas Ove também é uma pessoa céptica, o que o torna hilariante e cómico!
Podemos dizer que "Um homem chamado Ove" é como uma cebola. Começamos muito bem mas há medida que vamos avançando em camadas, o livro torna-se mais difícil e se forem como eu, vão acabar por event ...more

Um livro fantástico que todas as pessoas deveriam ler.
Um velhote rezingão e de ideias muito fixas vê-se sem a amada esposa e sozinho.
Resolve acabar tudo e suicidar-se de modo a encontrá-la o mais rapidamente possível, mas o raio dos vizinhos estão sempre a arruinar-lhe os planos.
A partir daqui é uma série de acontecimentos e peripécias inesquecíveis que me fizeram amar de paixão este livro.
Preciso de comprá-lo para ter na minha estante.

I really enjoyed reading A Man Called Ove. This was my first full-length novel by Fredrik Backman. After reading so many good reviews on this book, I couldn't help but be curious about this story. I had only read a short-story by him titled The Deal of a Lifetime (it's a really sweet story if you want to try it!).
I have to say I had a bit of trouble connecting with Ove in the beginning. I couldn't really understand where all that grumpiness and rudeness came from and I was doubtful tha ...more

Não era bem o que estava à espera, mas, mesmo assim, foi um livro divertido. Uma pessoa começa por não gostar muito do Ove resmungão mas acaba a gostar dele :)
Ainda gostei mais na segunda leitura

Such a sweet and sour read, at times I was laughing at Ove’s grumpyness towards others and his quickness to judge everyone an idiot, and on the next page my heart was pressed like a tiny ball and falling in love with him for his disguised kindness.
This is a beautiful life story that is shared with the reader in small chapters, step by step, letting us inside Ove’s house, heart and mind, like someone sipping slowly a nice cup of tea.
