Após as duas últimas leituras acerca da WWII, muito badaladas e que para mim foram medianas, ainda bem que apostei neste livro.

Retrata a ocupação nazi em França, mas cruza as histórias de dois jovens, cada um com os seus sonhos, com os seus medos, a atravessarem um dos períodos mais negros da história da humanidade. Gostei muito das personagens principais mas também das outras. A dedicação do pai de Marie-Laure é tocante. As descrições dos livros de Júlio Verne encaixam na perfeição.

Embora tenha gostado bastante da história deste livro, não foi dos meus favoritos.
Sempre gostei muito de livros dentro da temática da segunda guerra mundial, no entanto, relativamente ao Toda a luz que não podemos ver, tive algumas dificuldades com a velocidade a que se desenvolve. Penso que acaba por ser um pouco lento e extenso e isso prejudicou a minha experiência de leitura.
Foi interessante poder ler sobre a ocupação de França por parte dos alemães, sem focar demasiado nas partes mais negras

I've been meaning to read this book for awhile and it was really good, the duo perspective adds so much to the story, the way you move through between them, but the thing that sold me in the book was that the views weren't what we are used to in World War II stories - we follow no warrior or fighters, but we follow children, young and scared, and trying to figure out what's happening and where's safe, and especially with a boy growing in German and seeing how children were forced into Nazism, an ...more

The reason for the only 3 stars is because I think the author describes maybe a little too much
