This supernatural book was a great treat. It starts out in Chicago in 1947 and spans through the twenty-first century. Blair Singer dies prematurely and spends many years as a ghost, trying to do one good deed that will grant her access to Heaven. Although good-natured and wanting to prove herself, unforeseen obstacles prevent Blair from getting this break.
