Aine is a long, action-packed, scary yet thrilling novel. I give it 5 stars. Written in third person, Aine's journey starts in Bristol England in 1700 and spans almost two centuries. She is happily engaged. Things go awry and she is turned into a vampire--an ultimate betrayal from the man she trusted and loved.
