I really enjoyed this book. The world building was a bit slow at the beginning but picked up. I do feel like this book was a bit Of a mix btw Mortal Instruments and Vampire Academy. Dru's clumsiness was a bit of annoying considering how much emphasis was put on her dad training her. Also, the quality of the story was better than I expected. Almost poetic. And the horror was a fun surprise. I had nightmares but woke up to finish the book! That's always a good sign. I am definitely continuing

Alison (Lady Coffin) S
Hunter, like her dad, or so she thought. But not knowing much about her mom because she was killed when she was very young. There is way more to the story that she had any way of knowing.

Liked it plenty well enough to for sure read the second book in the series.
