I'm not always into vampire books so I wasn't sure what to expect with this one. I liked it, but I didn't love it. I liked the character of Dru all right but she didn't excite me. I liked the relationship between Dru and her father, how he taught her things about her world that she'd need to know. I wasn't expecting this book to have zombies in it...I didn't think of the world of vampires and zombies mixing. I liked Graves and what he brought to the story line. Hunter, like her dad, or so she thought. But not knowing much about her mom because she was killed when she was very young. There is way more to the story that she had any way of knowing.
Liked it plenty well enough to for sure read the second book in the series.
