Great start to this series.
Right from the start it kept my interest. Secrets will always come out but to try and protect those you love only to find out that there are more secrets. Jacinda has so much she wants but with the only family she has and the rules of her kind it's a tough thing for a young girl. Jacinda has a lot to learn and so much is about to begin for her.
I can't wait to see what is going to happen in the next book. So I'll be making sure I start it soon. ...more

Her mother’s a dumbass for not sitting her dumbass daughter d ...more

The concept of dragons and hunters modernized and woven into a wonderful and interesting plot was so great that I could barely put it down. My only complaint with Firelight was that the beginning was a bit rocky and confusing. I feel like the characters and the setting should've been introduced better and more clearly. If Sophie Jordan had written that first part a bit better then this book would definitely get 5 stars. I'll be reading the next one! 4.25
