4 stars - The classic cautionary tale of always wanting more than what you have and placing emphasis on status and wealth, a must read that was way ahead of it's time and equally relevant today. Emma is a flawed, but pitiable character amongst a series of flawed players. No one in this tale is without vice and pride.
