A secret society of vampires, witches, werewolves and shapeshifters that live amongst us with such strict rules that the person who breaks has a punishment for excuting. It is the best series I have ever read and no i don't mean that just because L.J Smith is my number 1 favorite author. No it is not but its because it is engaging with such intelligent, dangerous, sexy yet gentle characters. And what about the idea of the soulmate principle. The idea that you are bound for eternity with one person you are connected to mentally and physically, a person who might not be your type or even be your enemy but you can't live without?
