Breaking Dawn (The Twilight Saga, #4) in TWILIGHT HATERS

I think there must be a lot, because I can come up with a negative adjective for every. Single. Page. In the goddamn book. As you can probably tell by now, I hated Breaking Dawn. Where do I start?
Hm. Let me think...it's hard for me to remember, seeing as I've only read it twice, compared to the millions of times I've read Twilght/New Moon/etc. First: The wedding and honeymoon? Way too short. 75 pages? NO WAY. I wanted to read about B&E getting happy (perv How many ways are there to say "sucked"? Hm. Let me think...it's hard for me to remember, seeing as I've only read it twice, compared to the millions of times I've read Twilght/New Moon/etc. First: The wedding and honeymoon? Way too short. 75 pages? NO WAY. I wanted to read about B&E getting happy (perv? Hell yeah)! But noooo, Edward had to suddenly come up with a bunch of sperm (out of nowhere) and get Bella pregnant. Pregnant? Really? No, seriously, let me repeat that: REALLY? Seriously, Stephanie Meyer? Did you really have to fall for one of the biggest cliches in literature? I would have nothing against the pregnancy had Bella and Edward just...been...older. But, of course, they're destined to be true loves...just like Romeo and Juliet, hmm, wonder where that came from. The relationship between Bella and Edward was sooo distorted and effed up. Horny a little? Just a lot. I have never liked Bella, and in BD she was impossible. Whiny, bit**y, and unbelievably selfish. How many times did she hurt Edward or Jacob? Too many to count. Seriously, did she ever think about doing something for Edward? Of course not! She complains forever about how he's too good for her, and I think he is. I personally don't really like Edward (ABUSIVE STALKER), but even he's too nice for Bella, that bit**. And poor Jacob! Bella tells him she's planning to have sex with Edward. Then she completely manipulates him while she's pregnant. I would have slapped Bella silly had I been him. I had my problems with Jacob throughout the book, though. Up until he imprinted on Renesme, I loved him. I felt his pain and wanted to cry too when he though Bella was dead. He was the only real character who wasn't completely out of character in Breaking Dawn. Then, SM has to go and imprint him on Renesme. Renesme. Really? Renesme? WTF? Yes, I hate the name. And I hate Renesme. She's the perfect solution to everything. But her relationship with her biological parents is non-existent. Instead, she spends all her time biting her fave pedophile, Jacob. Yes, I understand that their relationship is not sexual. I know that Jacob was not secretly raping Renesme or something retarded like that. But still, it was hard to wrap my head around the imprinting. It completely ruined Jacob for me.

And the "fight" with the Volturi? Soooo lame. I mean, WTF was J. Jenks in there for? He was just a page filler. He had nothing to do with anything except to build up the so-called "suspense" that Bella and Edward might be killed. And honestly? I hoped they would be killed. It would be a tragic ending for a horrible series. I might actually have been a bit sad. But, no, Stephanie Meyer had to make everything perfect and tie it all up with a pretty pink bow. Maybe the wrapping paper even had rainbows on it!

Pretty much? Breaking Dawn=epic fail. ...more

But wow! WTH happened in this book!?!?
This book was a big disappointment.

There was a severe lack of characters and the characters were all out of character, when they were allowed an appearance.
I didn't care for the baby twist. Was Bella doomed to be unhappy without a baby in her life?
I hated that Edward offered hi I liked Twilight, didn't like New Moon, and Eclipse was just okay. I read Breaking Dawn because I wanted to know if Bella was going to change and if Edward was going to do it.

I hated that Edward offered his wife up to the old love interest for a chance at a normal baby.
I hated that 1/3 of the book had to come from Jacob's POV. Really? Edward's POV would have been so much better.
I hated that Bella really, ultimately gave nothing up in the end. She got to keep her father in her life, and amazingly, he got to find out about Bella and the Cullens, and the werewolves.....I mean "shapeshifters", and miraculously he was totally okay with it all, as long as he didn't have to know too much. *headdesk* *headdesk*
She got to keep Jacob in her life because of the weird imprint twist that Smeyer decided for Jacob. That was the wrong way to go.
The birthing scene was very disgusting. And I was disappointed that Edward did not get to change Bella in the romantic way that SM, I think, was leading up to. Instead she got injected with a huge needle of venom!
And I really really really hated that Smeyer had to take the perfect looks route once again when Bella was finally changed. It would have been nice if when Bella was changed that her looks actually stayed the same as they were when she was human. It would have been nice to know that looks really are not that important to Stephenie Meyer, but they apparently are.
The Volturi battle was a HUGE letdown. It was the most boring scene in the whole book. I actually started yawning reading it. It would have been nice if Bella actually did something worthwhile in this book and was the one to save them all. But, alas, it was not Bella. It was Alice. Only because Alice showed up with another like Renesmee, at just the perfect time, did the Volturi decide they could leave, leaving others unharmed.

I know Smeyer said that Bella would get a happy ending with a big huge pretty red bow wrapped around it. Yeah. She definitely did. Even at the expense of some of SMeyers own rules that she created.

SETH! Seth was the only thing I liked in this book. ...more

Alright. This is in whole the most terrible book I've ever read and I hate the way Bella's sooo ready to become a vampire and kill innocent animals just to keep her wretched soul alive and not getting rid of her "child of abombination" meaning that she's an abombination to nature and how she and Edward have to eat endangered animals like the Cougar (aka mountain lion), Grizzly bears (Emmet) and how can she throw away her human friends just to be with her "boyfriend"?
