Something happened with this book and the series really went off the rails for me. I read the previous two books in two days each but I had to drag myself through this one. The start was promising with the murder of the intensely unlikable Lord Fortescue. Emily's friend Ivy Brandon's husband is arrested for the murder. To further complicate matters an old flame of Emily's fiance shows up. Que the cat fight. Emily takes off for Vienna to find clues to free Robert Brandon and then the story stalls
