Clever, unexpected, suspenseful. Rushed home from work to read it. Didn't mind that my car was in the shop for 2 hours because I got to read it. Stayed up way past my bedtime for just one more chapter... And even after 800 pages, still read every one until the end. Just a darned good story and a dozen other stories in between.

Fantastic book! Read most of it over one long night because I couldn't put it down. I haven't read a King book in awhile, so I'm not sure if this is standard for him or not, but I loved the way he teased. Most authors have a subtle way of foretelling, to keep you invested, but his wasn't so subtle. Things like "He wouldn't make it to that point, but more on that later" or "I didn't love her yet" really kept the story moving for me.
