I am having trouble reviewing this book, because It so matches my ideas and feelings about the current state of America so closely. Reading this was like reading a book I could have written, if I had any talent. Reading this was like having someone in my head picking through my emotions and thoughts.

Read this book overnight because it is a good read, although the narrator, our hero, is a little too aware and cheeky for a 17 year old boy. Unless something has changed about 17 year old boys, he's too mature for his age. And his father is too immature for his age, which means it's the author working his own stuff. Little Brother was included in a comments segment on a blog post that asked readers what book most followed what's happening in our country today. In that way, Doctorow's book is too

I really wanted this to be my next Ready Player One and it wasn't quite. Still a good read, but a little more stressful than I thought. It's scary because it could happen. Still glad I don't like in San Fran either way.

Literally the best book I've read in years! It's fast paced, interesting, highly relevant and so hard to put down! If you haven't read this one already: do it now.
