290810: i can see how this garnered several awards- a very mature, complex, involving story with a credible character arc. how to be a good person, how to care, how to break away from simple loyalties learned growing up, and learn to do the right thing. i liked this more as ya because it made me think of how this would be as an early text for readers and how it demonstrates the power of prose, thought, emotion, rather than spectacle and distraction. all this in a believable sf way that only sf c ...more

Very good book. Written in the perspective of the Clone. I thought it would be more scientific in regards to the cloning process, but was a great read.
