this book just didn't work with me at all. i listened to it, so that might be a reason for it and I have a problem with the irish accents, but overall it just didn't work.
it's a work about loss, not forgetting the past, the importance of history, longing, love, drugs, self-image...all taking place in a Irish Boarding school.
There were some good snippets here and there, but overall it just didn't gel for me. ...more
