I really enjoyed this book and loved the alternating chapters between the two main characters Sarah and Handful. I also got educated with Sarah taking on a voice of her own not only to abolish slavery but for women's rights as well. I am not much of a fan fir historical fiction but this story definitely held my interest ...more
