The Courage of Hobbits
It has been quite some time since I last read this book. Upon rereading it, I find myself wondering about a lot of the criticisms thrown at the book, namely, that Tolkien has to stop and describe every blade of grass. While it's obvious he doesn't actually do that, I do find it odd that the descriptions of a new place are what gets under some people's skin for some reason.
