I chewed off all my cuticles reading this book. I main mystery was interesting, but the continuous story that has been carried throughout all the books in the series almost killed me from tension. I had a day off work, after 1.5 weeks of a teacher strike and coming home to a house destroyed by my kids and all their friends, and I made a conscious decision to spend the day reading and finishing this book. I don't think I breathed through it at all.

Penny never fails to provide a complex mystery that is both cozy and detective novel. I want to visit the B and B, meet the poetess, and buy some of Gamache's aftershave for my husband.
