I enjoyed this Danish addition to the Scandi crime books and the lead detective was suitably grumpy and troubled as he investigates the disapearence of a politician 5 years before. I'm afraid I didn't find the motive very believable but quickly got over that hiccup two thirds through to enjoy the rest of the ride, also liked the potential of his mysterious Syrian sidekick. Will read more as it was a pretty enjoyable book.
