Great read! Wonderfully written, I can't say which character was my favorite, since I saw apart of myself in each one. The story is violent, bloody and doomed and yet there is love, friendship and a will to survive. My only complaint is that it did seem to drag on a bit and for that reason I'm giving it 4 stars. ...more

I enjoyed this, but certainly not as much as I could have, and I'm not sure why. The skipping of viewpoints was interesting and helped develop the characters well, and touch on each of the dove-keeping ladies in their own way, but something was still...missing...from it, in my view. ...more
