It`s a fantastic book! It can be interesting even for someone who doesn`t know what and where Iran is. It`s worth reading even only for Firoozeh`s beautiful style and brilliant sense of humor! Loved it!!!
Now I`m looking forward to reading her next book 'Laughing without an accent'! ...more

These stories were nice. I felt sad for the author’s father who was so idealistic about America. I was also a bit too idealistic about my country, judging from recent developments, but reading about good, real, Iranian-Americans helped.
