What Members Thought
I keep thinking it must be a political satire, and not just a story about someone losing his nose, but I don't have enough background knowledge about Russia or Russian literature to pinpoint things exactly. The second story in the book is even more simplistic. I have yet to google people's analysis of the stories, of which I'm sure there are tons.

Amusing tale about a haughty guy who's nose gives him a bit of a snub by going on a walkabout (appearing in couture of a higher social rank, refusing to get back on his face). Was a fun little ride, but I'm not entirely sure why I HAD to read it before I died.
