Gortner's writing captivated me and had me believing that every word of this historical fiction was true. Rich in detail, eccentric supporting characters and a lady with extraordinary drive, this was an incredible story about the iconic Coco Chanel. It made me want to learn more about her and I will definitely be reading more of Gortner's books.
