i was really excited about this book, and really wanted to love it. in the end, though, the miseducation of cameron post is like rite-aid cotton candy ice-cream: rare, nostalgic, but just a little too sweet to be enjoyable. the author's writing style got to be a little too much for me around halfway through the book. the queerness was nice, but like others have said i found it unbelievable for her to be getting so much action in the middle-of-nowhere "miles shitty, montana." this is an enjoyable
