soooo... i don't know anything about proust, just kept hearing his name as one of the greats, so i read this. and you know what? this is a boring book. and i have a high tolerance for boring books. i can't sit through a movie but would gladly read the book instead. this is the first of 7 books, right? well, it reads like the first of 37 or something. like if someone asked you, "hey, what'd you do between the ages of 7 1/2 and 8?" and you answer, "well, i had some tea, had a weird aunt, had a pos ...more
