I really enjoy these books, James Rollins really knows how to weave a story. This one can relate to some of the problems in the world today if not current but certainly could be round the corner. This one is based in and around the British Isles, France and Norway. Loved te scenes inand around the tombs, I'll say no more, can't wait for the next and glad to see James is keeping the pedal to the metal with our SIGMA friends and their nemesis The Guild.

A plot to control the world's food supply. James Rollins uses his knowledge of science to educate the reader on the history of England, while informing readers of the dangers of genetically modified foods via big seed companies. A Sigma series novel. Where science, conspiracies and international intrigue meet.

This is another top novel from Rollings who has mastered the genre of historical adventure.
The book starts of very fast and it goes on a roller coaster ride. While the historical explanation part is lesser than his previous books, it was definitely faster and more action packed. Also the ending where the group had to solve the puzzle to get to the doomsday key was also very well-conceived. Once you pick this up, it flows effortlessly and it is hard to keep down.
A must read for action/adventure ...more

I loved this book. As stated before when I review Jim Collins' books, I learned a lot while being masterfully entertained.

I usually love James Rollins' books, especially Sigma Force, but for some reason, I struggled with this one. Seemed to drag and I just couldn't get into it. Maybe it was just me.
