Wow. Holy freaking WOW. What a wild ride. I had to google to make sure Evelyn Hugo wasn’t a real deal. Taylor Jenkins Reid is such a spectacular writer, I can’t even handle it! I finished this book and literally said WOOOOW. I feel like this book was 184748291 pages because there was sooo much information and history of Evelyns life. It was so painstakingly sad. Huge ups and huge downs. It really makes you wonder about karma. This book was amazing, please, READ IT ...more

This book was absolutely brilliant and I genuinely love it with my whole heart.

I genuinely wish that I could go back and read this for the first time again, or just take the time to fully experience everything, because let me t ...more

Five stars are the fewest this book deserves.
I was looking forward to read it! Most of my favorite booktubers and the rating of this book on Goodreads really motivated me.
The seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo only wasn’t one of my favorite books that I read during 2020: this book was one of my favorite books of all of my life!
I hardly ever cry because of a book (Please, respect me and do not kill me xD) The last time I did it, was by the time I read City of Glass of Cassandra Clare (It happened i ...more

Taylor Jenkins Reid does it again! It is a tremendous delight to find yourself crying at the end of a novel. When your tears dry up only for you to think of it and start crying again, is a sure sign of something special. The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo is a remarkable piece of writing, taking the readers back to the Golden Era of Hollywood, throughout the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and into the present with an incredibly complicated, believable, frustrating, wonderful woman. Honestly, I fell a little
