This Regency romance is very light on romance and more focused on the family dynamics. The characters were well developed, and I like the plot turning the fish-out-of-water trope on its head. I didn't like that the story hinged so much on the welfare of the youngest cousin and the romance seeming to be an afterthought. Not my favorite of Heyer's, but I enjoyed it. ...more
