The novel itself I really enjoyed. At first chapters seemed to move too quickly, but once I felt like it was mimicking the episodic nature of a tv show, I was fine with that.
But...
The codas contained too much smug self-satisfaction parading as clever meta for my taste. Brought down my entire reading experience by the time I had slogged through the last of them.

This book is the perfect summer scifi read: it's quick and it's absolutely hilarious. I won't give away what makes it so funny, as that would kill a fantastic plot twist; suffice to say, however, that it will make you giggle out loud. Absolutely worth it.
