My Interest
A few years ago I avidly listened to Conrad Richter’s Awakening Land Trilogy—The Trees, The Fields, and The Town about the settling of the earliest “West” in the USA–Ohio. I think I tried reading Sea of Grass once in high school in one of my parents’ Readers Digest Condensed Books–they had wonderful illustrations, but were abridged.
