not sure if it is ok to review and rate a book that I could not finish. I read about one-third of the book and decided to give up. The writing was elementary and the dialogue was worse. The conversations seemed stilted and the only way that I can describe it is cardboard cutout. The situation with Mr Boatwright was horrible and having Annette's mother say "do what he says" on a daily basis while she did her own thing with the Judge or Scary Mary, well.......
