Really enjoyed this book--as I do all of Carol Goodman's (I've read the early ones but have missed the past few and will be making up for lost time). All of her books share some common ground: they all take place in upstate NY and usually revolve around some sort of boarding type school; they're of the gothic suspense sort with lots of twists, turns, and red herrings; and the author must have some sort of background in classics/arts as most of the books include them as part of the plot.
